What Guests Are Saying
Orland Buttes offers a beautiful campground with stunning lake views, diverse campsite options, and excellent birdwatching opportunities. The friendly staff maintain a peaceful atmosphere, though the facilities, particularly the bathrooms, need improvement. Despite some challenges with campsite space and cleanliness, many visitors enjoy the serene environment and outdoor activities available in the area.

The bathrooms are covered in spider webs and spiders and spider nests and were so bad we wouldn’t even use them. The camp host was very rude to us and wouldn’t even help us just told us to call the rangers to get help.. plus there was roaches that were huge!! Soooo many bugs. We had a reservation for two night and only stayed one because it’ was already super late. Will not be back! Super disappointed . Lake was pretty though.

Nice campsites overlooking Black Butte Lake. The host is very friendly and has made a lot of trails down to the lake for easier hiking.

Great weekend. We did purchase site 23 before seeing it, and could not get our 5th wheel parked due to the tree. so we ended up purchasing a 2nd site and used the other for parking the truck. There are some amazing spots, but not all lend well to a 5th wheel. Clean sites and quiet.

Reserved the wrong site. Could not change to a site that was available, but was reserved for the next day. Called. 35 min. wait. Agent could not do it either. Suggested I call the ranger. He's not allowed to. A software glitch that needs to be fixed.

We went the last week of April and the wind was a bit gusty. Even with the wind, the place was lovely!

The campground and bathrooms were very clean and Bear, the host, did a great job of making people feel at home.
