The campsite was fairly pleasant for small kids, but the lake was all dried up. About 200 feet from the boat ramp. We had to drive about 20 minutes to the other side of the lake for the kids to enjoy swimming. They have bathrooms and showers there which is nice, but the bathrooms have so many spiders. My kids hated it so much. I just told them to toughen up.

The sites are big and have nice views of the lake. The bathrooms and showers are in desperate need of cleaning.

Beautiful area. Check weather for wind before you go. Plan for wind, strong winds. Lots of birds in May. Bring kayaks to see more birds in the marshy area. Clean bathrooms and nice staff.

Restrooms lacking soap. Men’s one stall for the whole loop. Dozens of people came in and shared their friends campsites after 11 pm
Camp host, Bear, was awesome, even though he was off duty
