The campsite was fairly pleasant for small kids, but the lake was all dried up. About 200 ft from the boat ramp. We had to drive about 20 minutes to the other side of the lake for the kids to enjoy swimming. They have bathrooms and showers there which is nice, but the bathrooms have so many spiders. My kids hated it so much. I just told them to toughen up.

Beautiful area. Check weather for wind before you go. Plan for wind, strong winds. Lots of birds in May. Bring kayaks to see more birds in the marshy area. Clean bathrooms and nice staff.
