Restrooms lacking soap. Men’s one stall for the whole loop. Dozens of people came in and shared their friends campsites after 11 pm
Camp host, Bear, was awesome, even though he was off duty

My husband and I drove up from the Bay Area to go camping here. It was a nice area, a nice walking trail nearby for the dog and super close to the lake! Dish golf course right down the road and it was clean! The only downfall was the wind the first night. Super unexpected but the second night was a lot calmer and quiet. Since it was so windy we weren’t able to go swimming so we drove into Chico, 30 minutes away, and found some lunch and enjoyed the town. I would stay here again! We had spot #7 and used our rooftop tent to camp. The ground is pretty much level and paved so that was nice. The driveway was long enough we had options for where to park. It would have been a really small spot for a tent. But we only had 1 other campsite near us so it was really quiet and peaceful.

Nice place and wasn’t to busy although we were there on a weekday. A little hard to stake a tent due to the hard pan. Other than that enjoyed it.
