What Guests Are Saying
Pinnacles Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with a variety of wildlife, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to numerous hiking trails, including the highly recommended Bear Gulch Cave trail. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and generally private sites, making for a relaxing experience. While some noted issues with limited facilities and the presence of raccoons, overall, guests found the campground enjoyable and a great base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Pinnacles National Park.

Campsites and area are very well kept and cared for. Staff was friendly and offered lots of park and hiking information. For non-rv hookup sites there is only one fill station so you need to fill before you park. Campsite was plenty big enough for our transit van and an additional car if needed. Lots of raccoons... be aware, and don't leave any food out!.

We really enjoyed camping at the Pinnacles campground. We liked seeing the Balconies caves and hiking. Having the shuttle is really great. The driver was helpful and we got dropped off where we wanted to be and picked up at the end of the day. A very fun experience.

Site 2 is large but the loss of a star is due to the location of the fire pit. It was near the cars and the road so not super private. It’s close to the bathrooms, showers, shuttle stop, and camp store which is great. It even had the WiFi from the camp store reach the site.

Clean, spacious sites. Little camp store. Good walking trails. Excellent bird watching. We were able to see the some condors from the campground, but you'll see more if you take the Overlook trail. Trails are exposed so I be they are pretty HOT in summer months. Stay hydrated and sun-protected!
