What Guests Are Saying
Pinnacles Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with a variety of wildlife, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to numerous hiking trails, including the highly recommended Bear Gulch Cave trail. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and generally private sites, making for a relaxing experience. While some noted issues with limited facilities and the presence of raccoons, overall, guests found the campground enjoyable and a great base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Pinnacles National Park.

A very nice, clean park. The employees in the store and the park officials were very helpful. Each answered our questions kindly and fully. We brought our rv trailer and there was many threaded water faucets to fill our water needs. We filled our water tank with our hose before moving into our camp site. The showers and restrooms were clean.

We stayed at a tent cabin. Easy check in. Cabin Solar provided lighting. Bathrooms and showers were being cleaned regularly. Lots of wildlife. Nice and quiet on a winter weekday. We were hoping to stay thurs-sat but a campground policy wouldnt let us book friday unless we booked saturday too.

This is a nice campground right in the park. We stayed during February and the park was not busy at all. We were able to park at all the trailheads. That said, this place does get busy in the springtime and summer. We had 30am hookup which worked well. Water spigots are throughout the campsite. Easy dump station on the way out. The sites were spread out and level.

The campground was very nice. We stayed in the tent area with our van, and this was less busy than the RV area. The camp store had a nice selection of supplies in case you forget anything.

Great campground. Sites are level and they have RV sites with power. (no sewer) Most of the roads are paved except most of the RV sites. Signage is iffy here. Lots of hiking close to the campground. Showers available with hot water and are free. Small camp store with sundries, t-shirts, and Collectibles.

My RV site was in full sun, no trees nearby. It was midway between two bathrooms, but neither one was very close.
On the plus side, it was very easy to drive in and out, site was quiet and free hot showers were great!

The cabin was really nice, but very cold at night in late January (bring lots of layers!). raccoons were living under all of the cabins, and they were shockingly brave, stealing our marshmallows off the picnic table with us standing right next to it and trying to get in the car door overnight. Made us a bit scared with our dog with us - be really careful if you have kids or pets along! But the park was amazing and the cabin very clean and spacious.

Beautiful park.
Definitely hike both cave trails on the east side. Trails are well maintained, and maps are accurate.
Camp store well stocked and parks side staff were helpful and friendly.

We camped three nights, dry camping with our Lance truck camper. It was mostly a very lovely stay. We had site 14 on the loop incorporating sites 7 thru 15. Site 14 is a great site, highly recommended. There is a posted one-way sign around the loop with clockwise circulation. I have to recommend that anyone with a camper or trailer taller than about 10 ft ignore that sign. There is a low-hanging tree between sites 10 & 11, which unfortunately damaged our rooftop cargo box (we are 12 ft 6 in tall). We should have gone around the other way.

Expect long lines and delays [or possible restrictions especially] between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
