What Guests Are Saying
Pinnacles Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with a variety of wildlife, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to numerous hiking trails, including the highly recommended Bear Gulch Cave trail. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and generally private sites, making for a relaxing experience. While some noted issues with limited facilities and the presence of raccoons, overall, guests found the campground enjoyable and a great base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Pinnacles National Park.

Fun place to visit! Electrical hookup and shade from a big tree with a very flat spot made it great for the RV. Lots of creatures visiting too: dear and raccoons and many different varieties of birds. Raccoons can be very aggressive about food so make sure you lock it up!

We came here for a weekend getaway. Very impressive night sky view. Saw Milky Way for the first time in my life. Free 24h shower and summer open swimming pool is plus. Condors in the sky and not crowded at all. The campsite’s map is a bit misleading though. For 2 connected campsites on the map turned out to be separated by a dry creek without tap water 💧 .

The camp site was great. Plenty of sun and shade. Clean. It was also fun watching the raccoons steal over campers food. Lolz. My son and I will return and bring the rest of the family next time.

Site 109 chosen for the electric & shade. Had morning shade & then of course evening shade. Site 104 & 105 had good afternoon shade. Electric makes all the difference in the summer. Had doe & 2 fawns in the foliage by our site so that was a treat. Easy to get RV leveled. Overall satisfied with the campground.

The campground was relaxing and well-maintained and the bonus of a pool to cool off in was a nice surprise!

We had a very nice visit, campground was adequately spaced, could leave some trail maps at the entrance during off hours. Trails were well maintained.

Very good campsites, just very busy as a consequence. Perfect for an easy camping trip they have just about anything you'd need.

Stayed at Site 35 and it was nice and flat with shade later in the day. The raccoons were another story as they were aggressive and will come up close and will take a lot to shoo them away. The back of the campground is close to a creek. There were deer there and you can see the Vultures flying up above. The night sky and stars along with the Milky way were visible at night.
