Tule Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious, well-separated sites and a friendly camp host. Many visitors appreciate the clean facilities, beautiful lake views, and ample family-friendly activities such as biking and fishing. No hassle to get in and out and close to what we wanted to visit (Sequoia)

We have stayed here numerous times and love to come her. It’s private, well maintained (bathrooms are clean) and staff are very friendly. One of our favorite campgrounds to visit.

Check in and site were fine. Views were nice.
Bathrooms were awful. Women's room nearest our site had three stalls, only one with a working latch and full of spiders. Showers nearest our site - 4 showers: 3 had doors that wouldn't close and last one had lights that wouldn't turn on. Used it anyway with a lantern. So many bugs and so much trash inside. Water from the shower shot all over the room and every single thing I brought in got wet, including my clean clothes and my towel. Water pump at our site was also full of roaches. I understand that camping involves bugs, but it was so excessive at every single turn.

We arrived quite late unfortunately and it was extremely hard to find our space as the indication boards are not sufficient at all.
Then there were supposed to be flush toilets, showers and basins available. For whatever reason they were all locked up and we had to use vault toilets instead. There was nobody coming to check (neither in the morning), no fee reduction, too many cockroaches and on top of that sleeping next to a highway is just not great.

Unfortunately our stay was bad enough that we only stayed 2 out of the 5 nights booked and left for a safer park without asking for a refund. It seems as if anyone can enter the campground at any time and use the facility whether or not they have paid to be there. We were woken up late both nights by people who seemed to be under the influence of some kind of substance running around naked and walking on the roof of the restroom facilities. The restrooms and showers were honestly scary to use especially at night because of the random people and I would not recommend allowing children to use them without an adult even during the daytime. They were also incredibly disgusting, hot, and most of the locks are broken or the doors just won’t even close. There is very little shade all around so the heat during the day is almost unbearable. There are sites with hookups and it seems like they’ll allow people to launch a watercraft at any hour day or night so maybe that is a positive attribute to this place. I would never return solely because of the safety issues.

Had a wonderful time camping in our RV. Hookups worked well. However, there was a notice about the water having e-coli so that makes for more work since we were hooked up to the water. Quiet campground and I liked the fact that the park rangers and sheriff patrol often day and night. Made us feel safe. Bathrooms were clean but HOT. But that’s expected when it is over 100 degrees outside. Showers could use some lights and maybe a shelf to sit clothes to stay dry. But we will definitely be back. We ended up extending our trip from 3 days to 5 because it was so peaceful.

As far as campgrounds go it was average. The things I liked were the spaces were large and clean. Town was not far and the drive to the river to play was short. What I didn't like was the overload of bugs in the bathroom. I've been to much more rustic and open campgrounds, I've showered with frogs and spiders- No big deal. But for whatever reason, no matter how often the bathrooms were cleaned, there was a bunch of maggots and worms on the floor. That and the heat of the bathrooms, made for very uncomfortable situations. The Ranger was a bit frustrating, There were numerous sites with more than 2 cars, and for some reason, I kept getting talked to... My family rented 10 sites all together and with some older family members walking was difficult in the heat, but apparently the parking police couldn't let it go. So everytime my aunty wanted to visit, she had to get dropped off, if she needed the restroom, someone had to walk back to thier car to take her. It was rather inconvenient. Yes of keys and drivers for other cars were closer, that would work, but just seems silly that if the cars fit in the parking space and are not blocking the road, the rangers would have better things to do.. like manage the drunks fighting about kids games that got out of hand.. I enjoyed the family time, but the grounds themselves were not my favorite.

Family had a great time. Grounds were cleaned up as well as bathrooms. On-site staff were super helpful when we had issues with our trailer even though it wasn't required to help us. We will be returning soon!
