Overall the campground was well kept, in order. The campground host was helpful and give good advice. The only thing was the road up to the campground (10 miles before) was in very bad shape.

Tarantulas we’re out in early November! I saw several! Beautiful campground! Very well maintained and patrolled by Park rangers. Tranquil setting of green rolling hills amongst massive oak trees! Access to lake even though it was very low. I’ll be back!

It was clean, quiet (after 10), and serene as described. All amenities were fully functioning. Wi-Fi is slow (but there's something), Cell signal and water level currently low.

Campsites are spacious and clean. Very enjoyable stay. The sand volleyball and playground are nice additions.

I had to rake the grounds before setting up No one around to do it. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Beautiful campground! It has everything, many sites have water/electricity, five sites have sewer, and there’s a dump station nearby. Sites are paved and mostly level, with plenty of space around each one. Many have views of the lake which is unfortunately very low right now. There’s three bathrooms, each with one shower. The cell service was very poor for AT&T, but there’s a hotspot at the check-in booth which really helped. There’s a boat ramp and a really nice fish cleaning station. We stayed five nights, and in late October, there were only a handful of sites occupied. We’ll be back, hopefully the lake will be higher.
