Good place for solo camp, no music, few yotes tiptoeing around you but other than that pretty peaceful, nobody bothers you, you can always holler at the rangers or just call the park phone if anything

A hidden gem in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains... not too far, with a scenic drive, to Yosemite NP!
Grounds were well maintained, site were exceptional and we couldn't get over the views.
Stargazing was a gift with dark clear skys!!!

Feburary is the perfect time to visit. The weather was cool. The summer is very hot. There was no camphost onsite most of the time and ranger presence was extremely light. Didn't feel safe.

This spot can't pull your car up, probably says it in the description so my fault. It's a campsite. So great. Good shade and clean.
