Tannery Campground offers a beautiful setting with well-maintained facilities, clean bathrooms, and spacious campsites, making it a great spot for families and friends to create lasting memories. While some visitors reported issues with the campground host's friendliness and noise disturbances from other campers, many still enjoyed the overall experience, highlighting the scenic lake and shaded areas. Tannery Campground is great. Host keeps the restrooms clean. Water was not drinkable and that was a little inconvenient.

No showers and winding road to get to site, besides that, AMAZING spot!! Bathrooms were clean, friendly folks, we had a wonderful time!! This is an amazing spot to get away from it all! Be sure to bring water to drink, towels, sunscreen, and firewood for campfires!! Can’t wait to come back!!!

The campground itself was great. The lake and the views were spectacular. However, it was Memorial Day Weekend and although we expected the usual amount of noise, it appears that there is a local tradition of the entire local High School senior class camping, drinking, and playing loud music until 4am in the morning. The hosts should have intervened. Not exactly the serene camping experience. Highly recommend the campsite. Highly recommend against Memorial Day weekend or maybe any other holiday.

Incredible campground with some massive sites. Renting a boat at the marina across the way was a great way to spend one of the days. My only complaint is that over memorial day weekend there was a group of local teens partying pretty hard until 2-3am every night and I expect the camp host to proactively address campers that are being excessively disruptive.

Beautiful location, scenery and beach with campsites that are nice size and not too close together. Clean bathrooms. Only 1 other site occupied at the beginning of the season made for a lovely quiet time. I just wish there were showers, or a shower shelter behind the restrooms with a hook so we could use our sun shower to shower. Also, notification that the water was not potable available before arrival is recommended!

The trees kept us cool and the views are great. The restrooms were clean but didn’t seem to be cleaned daily.

Overall it was a good camp ground but this particular campsite sits on a slope, so with the living space made it kind of hard with 3 little kids- chairs flipping over, wobbly table. I would say this campsite had about 10 ft of solid flat ground… so just beware of that, and bathroom that was right next to us, the men’s were out of order so you have to walk over to the next one which was busy.

2nd visit to Trinity Lake. Campground is well maintained, clean and great access to the lake with a boat ramp and beach area. Most campsites we saw, including ours, are good size so you don't feel like you are camping right on top of your neighbor. We went during a record heat wave and the tall trees provided great shade. We brought a canopy, but didn't even use it. There is NO CELL SERVICE, which was fine by us to disconnect for a few days. There is service in Lewiston (15 minute drive), if needed. Rented a boat at the marina (10 minute drive) and had a great time. Our family and friends had a great time and enjoyed making memories together.
Pro Tip - Bring a paper map of the area because your GPS might not work.

This is rough camping, though there is toilets and sinks. This was nearly impossible to find via Google. Crazy directions. No park representative avaliable on site. Site was not level and tough to set tent.
