Beautiful campground with great views. Being the off season (Jan. 21) it was not busy and we felt like we had the campground to ourselves. The bathroom and shower clean. The door was propped open for some reason so that made the shower quite cool in the morning. We stayed at camp site 9 which was in the corner of a parking lot overlooking the lake. Worked perfectly for us, especially since there were not any other visitors to the park. Not sure I'd love this site during busier times but it was also nice and flat compared to some of the other sites.

While we love the park, lake and surrounding area.. campsite #4 is Too sloped to enjoy in an RV over 20ft long. Ours is 27 and we jacked it up as much as possible on one side and had the hitch literally on the ground and we were still so unleveled we hated it. It was also scary cuz we kept feeling like we were gone slide off the blocks and slide down the embankment and into the lake.. plus forget any extra activities... You don't want to move the trailer like that in that spot the way you have to try and level it. ..we even chained the hitch to the bathroom fence as an extra insurance policy. Which brings me to the fact that #4 is literally on top on the bathroom. Literally.

The campground setting was beautiful, the grounds and bathrooms were clean. There is no cell service, so if you wanted to change sites or call a ranger you have to use the payphone on site.

Enjoyed the quiet, views, and proximity to Kings Canyon NP. Most sites hilly, with picnic tables & firepits a good distance from parking spot. One bar intermittent T-Mobile cell service. Was a lot of trash on roads leading down to water, picked up 2 large bags but still more there. Will return as overall great experience.
