Loved our trip to Los Prietos! The wild turkeys were so fun to watch. The river across the road was fun to go swim in. And we enjoyed the hiking trails nearby. Will definitely be returning!

Expected it not to be as green due to the time of year, but definitely not as shady either. There was some sort of shade on each site at some time during the day, but not as shaded as the pictures are. The day-use swim area was also non-exisistant for the time we went.

This is a gem and we almost do not want to do a review so I can keep it to ourselves
The Campgrounds are spread sufficiently to give a good level of privacy and most groups are not loud (even with kids)
The camp host are helpful and come by to check on you (in a friendly way)
Turkeys are ALWAYS walking around your tents in the morning and it is a funny surprise the first time.
The weather is pleasant and there are fun recreations and hiking areas around the campgrounds.
Spigots in the campsite and Vault toilets spread around (it used to be a (Boy scout Camp)
Some sites have poison ivy so keep your eyes open
A good fun place to camp and explore

Really enjoyed Los Prietos! Hosts were kind and things were very clean. We enjoyed the turkeys that wandered around in the morning and evening. No problems at all.

Had a great time with the family, and would definitely visit again! Felt safe & clean during COVID, and was pleasantly surprised by the flushing toilets. Centrally located not too far from Santa Barbara, Lake Cachuma, and even made a short drive to Solvang for a day. The bugs were out during the day, but were manageable with bug spray.

The campground is well maintained. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. The wild turkeys are clearly very much at home. Day use access to the river, just a short drive away, was very welcome on these hot summer days.

Nice campground, even when full there was good distance between the sites. Wild Turkeys or something like that wandering around the campground was kind of neat too
