Park ranger was very amicable and accommodating. The bathrooms were quite clean. One of the campsites I stayed at was downwind of the bathrooms, so the smell wasn't great. I was able to move to a camp site that was upwind. I would recommend!

Short walk to the river for a swim, great mountain bike ride up and down Snyder, and nice overall campsites. Clean and very well maintained, a pleasure between beautiful oak trees. The occasional visit of the turkeys was an added pleasure.

Camping here in the spring is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful green grass, lots of wild turkeys, very few people. It’s a perfect place to have as a hub to go to wine country in Santa Ynez and to Santa Barbara.

Very pretty campsite. The sites around the entrance loop are pretty open, but the campsites in the second loop are more private with lots of trees. Most of the sites we saw had somewhat of a slope to them. Lots of poison ivy in April. Well maintained toilets. Overall we would definitely stay again.

The site was very green and well spaced apart from our neighbors. Only draw back was the amount of poison oak all around.
Wild turkeys walking around was cool. Hiking nearby was also very fun. Not many people around so this was a real relaxing vacation.
Solvang was only 35 minutes away and our kids loved that. I would recommend it to anyone.

This is a very nice spot... it is well maintained...I would be great if they had a "what you can do" locally on info board but we found our way around... There are hiking trails close by and you can get to a river in two different spots on right across the street at the day use facility and one a few miles up at the end of the road...If that's not your cup of tea, Santa Barbara is 30 minutes away with all the great stuff you can do there...When the weather is gorgeous this is a fantastic spot to spend a week...

We had a very good time for easter this year. WE had friendly neighbors and the campground was so green with fresh grass and oak trees. We appreciated the landscaped grassy areas to put our tents onto. Overall we had a really good time despite the cg being full it was very quiet at night time. Til the next time.

Familiarize yourself with poison oak and bring your bug spray! If you’re prepared you’ll have a wonderful time. Beautiful campground, bathrooms well-kept. We will be coming back again soon!
