Both the bathroom buildings closest to us each had 4 single stalls; only 2 were useable. The ground at all the sites is very hilly/not level and makes it difficult to set up a tent and the fire wood was really expensive.

We had site #06 with a 21 ft. camper van. Loved the way the site bordered the woods. Awoke to wild turkeys strutting through our site. Only bummer was that the people across from us were seriously noisy, blasting music. After a couple of us asked them to be quiet, the site ranger took care of it. Walked up the street to Sage Hill for a hike. Bathrooms were below average.

the sites are mapped out in a loop - starts with 1 and goes around and back to 38 (which was our site), so 38 is at the front near 1. it was a really nice site and well maintained. only complaint would be that our site was really close to the main road and the cars were loud. our site didn't have the issue with slanted ground that other sites had

First time here and loved it. Will definitely go back! Great sites. The smaller area towards the back is where we stayed. We would do that again. The larger area seemed busier though every site was taken while we were there. Bathroom very clean.

Beautiful campground. Shady and lovely. Lots of poison oak. We came home covered!

Beautiful, clean campsite with a field right behind us, quiet at night, and a gaggle of wild turkeys even dropped by!! Super cool and the host's dog, Olive, was adorable.

Fantastic for trees & shade; campsites are distanced and well-maintained. Flushing bathrooms and accessible water is nice. Don't go if you're scared of turkeys.

Great campsite with restrooms all around. Lizards mouth rock and lake Cachuma is very close and great to go see. Cold spring tavern has great food and beer. Wild turkeys hang out every morning.
