Since we were new to the area, the campground hosts were very helpful in letting us know where to explore.

We got site 15 which was the very last site around the giant loop of campsites so we ended up back near the entrance. Although it was closest to the main road, it wasn't too noisy! Super sunny campsite with not too many trees to provide shade around but that wasn't an issue, we enjoyed the sun! The grass is mainly foxtails so be careful if you bring pets or children, the little sticklers hurt! It was fully booked the weekend we went so it felt pretty safe.
I wish the site had mentioned beforehand that the flush bathrooms were out of commission right now. They provided 4 portapotties which was nice but in the 3 days we were there, we saw them clean it only once and you can assume how used they were in a full 15 site campground with at least 4 people each site. The restroom situation is the only grievance I have with this campground though!
The camp host was super nice and made their rounds each day we were there to check us in and offer firewood to purchase. The other campers near us were kind and considerate of noise levels and curfew and such. The site came with a picnic table, campfire round, and grill stand. There was ample parking.
Activities to do around there, we mainly swam at the river nearby. There was an access tunnel right by the campground that takes you under the main road and into the riverbank. Walk a little bit more to the right, following the trails you'll find and you will be at a perfect swimming spot where you can put some camp chairs at and sit for a while.
Overall, one of the better campsites I've been to. Just wish there was a pop up notice of the potty situation!

Beautiful spacious area! Not like most campsites that are super close to each other. Enjoyed the scenery and very convenient that it's just a 20 minute drive to Santa Barbara
