What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

Very spacious just a little close to next campground but very nice because it’s the last site and to your left is no neighbors lovely views also

This camp spot is OK, offering plenty of space for multiple tents, but it adjacent to another campsite with no privacy. Would be great to reserve both spots for a family.

Great spot with a helpful friendly camp host. The store right at the entrance is convenient for getting miscellaneous camp necessities like beer and fire wood.

I’ve been coming to this campground since a baby. This place holds a special place in my heart! This year we came out here twice, and brought more family! They loved it, and we are already planning for our next trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Dinkey Creek. Our camp host, Tammy, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She kept the restrooms spotless, checked in regularly to keep us well-informed, and brought a welcoming and friendly presence to the campground. We can't wait to return!

I’ve been coming to Dinkey for 10 years now and I’ve never had a bad time. This year was no different, in fact, our host, Tammy made this the best trip yet! Tammy was so attentive to any needs in not only our loop, but every loop on the campgrounds! If Tammy isn’t a host next year, I’ll be so sad! After a week of checking in with each other every day, we got to know each other and I’m really really hoping next summer, we get to catch up! She was doing a million tasks and jobs and still managed to get to know our whole group. Give Tammy a raise and hire some more folks to help her out!

Our camp hosts were absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and at home. Not only were they warm and friendly, but they were also incredibly knowledgeable about the layout of the land. They pointed out the best spots to explore, shared helpful tips for getting around, and really made our stay so much smoother.
It’s rare to find hosts who go above and beyond like this—truly a five-star experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Our campground hosts, Jason and Tyra, we're the best. We could tell they were working very hard and we're very friendly. We saw that they had to deal with other campground guests that were leaving messes and not following rules, and we felt that they handled it all in a very professional and friendly manner.

We were not notified ahead of our trip that the well was not working properly. So flushing toilets were not available. Showers at the Inn were not available. Water was labeled non-potable. So we had to boil or purchase water for $4/gal. Because of the no flushing toilets the pit toilets were filling quickly. Yellow jackets were out in full force. Pack a trap. You will thank me for that later.
