What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

Great campground. The host at the front entrance was so helpful when we had a car issue and had to deal with AAA. Thank you!!

If not going to have toilets you should let us know before!
Also not enough portable bathrooms it was very unsanitary

The water supply is low, there for the bathrooms were closed, which no communication was made by website, email, or at check in. 2 port-a-potties for 2 loops. If I had known ahead of time plans could have been made.
Bear boxes are needed to store food properly.

Very friendly camp host and staff. Nicely organized and a card with my name was waiting at the campsite. Beautiful creek for exploring and dipping. No bugs, amazing stars. The biggest problem, of course, was the lack of potable water and bathroom access. The portapotties were not sufficient or provided at all existing (now locked) bathrooms. The result was people urinating outside, and often leaving discarded toilet paper in the open. At the normal campground price one expects more from our public campgrounds.

Camp hosts were all amazing! Despite the toilets not functioning, they kept the portables extremely clean! The owners of the little store were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Found an awesome waterfall while hiking. Love this place so much.

We had a great time. The camp hosts were excellent. As usual there were some loud people after 10 pm. I told him and he came by every night to tell them it was quiet time.
I wish I could remember his name. He stays at the campsite B12.
