Dinkey Creek has always been a favorite spot for my family. This time didn't fail to be a great adventure. Staff was great and the campsite was good. The toilets shifted to vault, from the flush that were there a few years ago. Temps were good and the bathrooms were clean. Overall a great time.

Beautiful well maintained campsite, right next to a restroom which is a plus for me. Also within walking distance to the creek, swimming pools and rock slides. The road to get to the campsite is filled with meadows of lilacs & other wild flowers! Will definitely be back with my family!

The campground was clean & orderly, with room between campsites. The campground hosts were great. I especially appreciated the nearby private resort with supplies, hot food & showers. Dinkey Creek is a good place to relax. As always, good times depend upon the give & take between the respectful use of the whole area, as well as respect for people just having a good time.

The sceneries are beautiful, campground was nice and peaceful, and restrooms were very clean. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to going back.

Despite the fire and evacuation, which were controlled within a couple of hours, we were allowed to enter the grounds and camp. We had a very enjoyable and peaceful weekend.

Lack of potable water makes staying at Dinkey less than desirable. My family has said they do not want to stay again at any campsite that does not have potable water available.

For the first time in 50 years we are considering going elsewhere: water not potable, flush toilets not in use, 1/2 portapotties broken, usable portapotties not pumped often enough, roads falling apart with some HUGE ruts. The creek was fine, fishing good. Camp hosts friendly and cleaned portapotties regularly.

I Love Dinkey Creek! my family comes every year and it's always a Great Experience! This year Jason and his wife took Excellent care of us so I want to Give them a Big Shout out as well as Jason the Supervisor! They were Awesome!

#64 worked out for us but I can see it being an issue for others. Drive way is not very big and is parellel to the main driving loop so youre somewhat forced to park more on the dirt area even though policy requires you to be on the paved path. The site is on a slope so be warned. There's 2 relatively flat areas at the top of the slope and 2 at the bottom where you can setup a tent. The fire ring is positioned really high at the top of the campground because of how the site is on a slope.
A lot of the vault restrooms were closed and had portapotties available stationed infront of it. #64 is right next to the camp host so that could be a plus or negative depending on how you view it. Now for the best part of the site which I find to make all the small negatives not matter. #64 is right on the pathway that leads you to the creek. There is a nice swimming hole thats really secluded from everyone else. We brought our fishing poles and small cooler and just relaxed there for majority of the day. 4/5 rating for this site.

Turn southeast onto Dinkey Creek Road and travel 13 miles to the campground.
