campsites are close to each other without any hedge or visible barrier.
This last trip at Tuttletown had many RVs with generators, people with dogs, noisy diesel engine pickups, and music playing.

Fairly easy to reserve online. Bathrooms could be cleaner, but overall a good experience.

Had an amazing time here. We did a fishing tournament at New Melones with Slay Nation Tournament Fishing. The check in process was easy, the campgrounds were nice and clean, and the staff/rangers were absolutely accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait to bring the family back down here. A new favorite for sure. And the fishing was great to top it off.

Acorn sites aren’t very flat. King ranger needs to be checked, pulled up lights flashing flying in on some kids for riding dirt bikes after the first calm ranger said we could. That boss ranger needs a serious reality check

A week after heavy rains the hillsides were turning a lovely shade of green, yet the trails were dry enough to use with normal shoes. Everywhere litter was picked up and the bathrooms were clean and properly stocked.
Verizon signal very strong.

A lovely ☺️ peaceful retreat to take in a quick minute of much needed respite.
Beautifully charming all the way around ( just wish folks would stop littering & put their trash in the garbage bins where they belong).
Animals don’t come into their living rooms & trash their living spaces.
