Besides the water level being frighteningly low, we loved camping at the Manzanita campground at Tuttletown.
The Park Ranger was very nice. Campgrounds are well-groomed and very large.
Will definitely camp here again.

It was a fun weekend. Just a bummer that the lake level was so low. VERY difficult to enjoy anything water related as the shores are so steep and muddy.

site 108
adjacent to trash - tons of flies
no shade nor trees at this site
sticker thorns surrounding entire site, dogs had to be carried in and out
solid rock ground meant very poor staking to the ground and no trees meant no other mount points for a canopy or tent.
I had a 4 day stay planned and left after one night when the wind broke my canopy in half then almost stole my tent.
no wonder it's so easy to reserve this place.

What I didn't like is that there are a lot of leeches in the water and you can't swimming
or shower

The "new" process is NOT user or public friendly. If not for the ranger staff I would never return.

Tuttletown is an amazing experience.😺
There is beauty all around to take in, capture, & be inspired by. 🌳
The hiking trails are awesome, well groomed, shaded & offers stable footing - a (non difficult terrain).
The lake 🚤 is astoundingly gorgeous 📸also refreshing to 🏊swim in, safe and fun. 👙🩲🩳🩱
One can literally swim to different islands, jet ski, or recreate in & outside of a boat.🚣🛳⚓️
It’s cool 😎, & generous to offer ‘Glory Hole’ recreation as a part of ‘Tuttletown’s’ neighboring accessible park. 🤙🏽
Another great & beautiful place to explore. 🎒
There are many camping 🏕 sites to choose from & they are sporadically placed apart for privacy.
Lots of different grounds in the same park.
The bathrooms are kept immaculately clean 🧽 offering coin 🪙 operated hot showers 🚿 which is refreshing after the day’s activities.
The grounds are well kempt- very nicely manicured offering pleasing views throughout.
🚵♀️ Mountain biking is another fun activity here, the trails are not to steeply intense & rocks are at a minimum.
The perfect place to find your peace ☮️.
The meleflous sounds of 🐦 nature, the sweet passerby’s of deer - the glory of all the 🦅 flying beauties gracefully soaring in the skies above.
This place is Wonderful & safe - a good family environment where children can recreate outdoors with their families & break away from the video games - television & step into some nature😁😌 (: 😌.
Perfect summer destination ~ thank you 🙏 😉

Camp sites are tiny and you effectively share with your neighbors. Absolutely no privacy. Bathroom toilets broken and leaking water you must step in to use.
