Make sure to put your food in the bear locker before the sun goes down.We had bears stealing our garbage and food before we could even walk it over to the dump. And we were with 5 people enjoying our camp fire.If you are afraid of bears this is not going to be a great experience as they are all over the campground. The Hosts are great as they come by to warn you and show you the damage what they can do.(Like ripping open your icebox if you don't put it away soon enough)

We stayed in site 190, very very clean site, reasonably close to the bathrooms and showers, just a short walk to fallen leaf Lake.
Would stay there again and would recommend

Fallen Leaf Campground is beautiful! I woke up early one morning to see a very large bear meander through the meadow.
My only complaint was the generator noise of several neighbors. Quiet hours could be better enforced.
I wish motor home folks realized that most of us go camping to get away from noise and to enjoy the quiet beauty of nature.
Maybe there should be some regulations about acceptable noise levels allowed in parks? I know they do make quiet generators.

We stayed at Fallen Leaf Campground for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The campground is very clean, and all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. We spent three days hiking around Fallen Leaf Lake, and the views were absolutely magnificent — peaceful water, surrounding mountains, and plenty of beautiful spots to stop and enjoy nature. This campground has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is a perfect base for exploring the area. We’ll definitely be returning!
