What Guests Are Saying
Kaspian Campground offers breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an incredible camping experience. The well-maintained site features clean facilities, easy access to hiking trails, and a spacious layout. However, campers should be prepared for limited visibility at night, bear activity, and some challenges with carrying supplies due to the campsite's elevation.

The campsite is close to the road, very noisy, on a slope, even the tents are inclined, the equipment is very simple!

Was here for opening weekend in May. Had a great time, but next time will check whether there is running water at the camp yet. The facilities were still winterized and no running water yet, but there was a working spigot across the highway along the trail and it was easy to purchase some extra water from the store. If you want more space from neighbors, site #9 is the best. Eagle Rock trail is within walking distance and doable with kids.

Perfect campground right across from the lake (highway between). Quiet even though it was completely full.

The campground and surrounding areas were beautiful! We camped 2 nights at site 3 (#1-3 are at parking lot level) We drove up Barker Pass Rd to the Ellis Peak Trailhead for a hike to a gorgeous lake near the peak. The campground was clean and there was a large bathroom with urinal, flush toilet and sink/faucet with countertop and soap. A little noisy from car traffic through most of the night but expected since it’s across the street from Lake Tahoe (at lake level).
