The campground was very calm and peaceful. We had a nice view of Lake Tahoe through the beautiful pine trees. We were able to mountain bike from our campsite to the expansive trail system above town. We even saw two bears foraging for food in the forest while riding! Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

Site was clean and maintained but backing in a trailer was very difficult with the posts across from site now allowing truck to straight out. Also had issue where booking for two nights (booked 1,2nd turned into only one night of 1-2nd and they kicked me out of site due to there booking mistake)

Beautiful campground. Sites are not too close together. A quick walk to the beach. Beach does not seem to enforce no pets rule. Close to amenities. Downsides are no hookups, no showers, no dumpsite.
