What Guests Are Saying
Nevada Beach Campground is highly praised for its stunning location near Lake Tahoe, clean facilities, and friendly staff, particularly campground hosts Adam and Janet. Campers enjoy the beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forests, as well as the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the shoulder season. While reservations can be challenging to secure and some amenities, like restrooms, need improvement, the overall experience is characterized by cleanliness and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many.

Arrived late the night of our reservation and went to check in at kiosk before 9 AM (as I believe to be standard practice), was told since I "didn't show up" the night before, our reservation had been cancelled. Woman at kiosk would not listen to reason or the fact that we had been there all night, even making us pay an "extra car" fee just to get through. Entire party was forced to leave a night early without a refund!

The location of this site was not ideal for us but it was available for the dates needed last min. The restroom is directly in front of us, conveniently close, but very upsetting for my dog, as lots of ppl and dogs walking by. No dogs allowed on the beach, boo. Awkward returned to the camp after a outting and our neighbors had set up a second tent right next to ours.

We had a lot of challenges at Nevada Beach -the hosts were wonderful and after spending 20 years in Tahoe we knew it is one of our favorite spots. However recreation.gov allowed us to book site 16 and gave me a reservation confirmation and then allowed someone else to book it for the same nights. So we had to come a day later, set up and move our campsite three times in four days!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous and really made relaxing impossible. 😢

The camp sites were pretty large. Loved the fact that there was a place on the beach for dogs and the lake was so close.
Cons- ants were a serious issue at our site, mounds everywhere. No trash cans or showers. Picked up our dog poo and there was nowhere to dispose of it.

Nice campsite. Weather was a deterrent with some rain but the biggest problem was very heavy winds. Frigid 54 degree water temperatures and wind limited lake activities. Views across lake were spectacular.
