What Guests Are Saying
Nevada Beach Campground is highly praised for its stunning location near Lake Tahoe, clean facilities, and friendly staff, particularly campground hosts Adam and Janet. Campers enjoy the beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forests, as well as the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the shoulder season. While reservations can be challenging to secure and some amenities, like restrooms, need improvement, the overall experience is characterized by cleanliness and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many.

The only drawback to Nevada Beach Campground is the almost impossibility of booking. We tried for month last winter and never were successful for a spot in summer. Lucky to score one with the smoke from the fire and a little rain. The campground is a great spot.

Large shad pavilion for group BBQ very close to parking lot and short walk to beach. Be aware that each vehicle will be charged $10 to park with the six reserved spots. If it is peak summer the rest will not be able to park close and have to park on the road and walk in.

Everyone except Toni was very unhelpful. We were told that we get 6 parking spots however they would not let anyone in after 3 cars had come in. I walked up and spoke to 3 other workers who said they would look into it, but they still refused to let our guests in. Parking was a disaster for our guests and they were incredibly rude. We picked up all the trash and moved the tables back and we have still not received the deposit back after 1 week,

Great campground. Great hosts.
I have one very important negative comment. Bathroom doors in campground and on beach do not completely close and lock. This is a security issue that needs to be addressed.

Very spacious sites. Clean restrooms with running water. Easy access to beach and hiking, and there's a convenience store just 0.5 miles away if needed. We found only trash bins, no recycling in the campground. Be aware of chipmunks trying to get into your stuff/tent/camper any moment you have your back turned! Potable water available, no dump station. Lovely hosts. Highly recommend!

Camp host Phronne and her husband were so nice and helpful. All of the staff there are great. They put up with a lot of peoples attitudes and unnecessary disrespect.
