What Guests Are Saying
Nevada Beach Campground is highly praised for its stunning location near Lake Tahoe, clean facilities, and friendly staff, particularly campground hosts Adam and Janet. Campers enjoy the beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forests, as well as the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the shoulder season. While reservations can be challenging to secure and some amenities, like restrooms, need improvement, the overall experience is characterized by cleanliness and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many.

Beautiful place ruined by bad management and poor customer service. The personnel in charge of the site are quite rude. On our first morning we were inquired in a quite bad manner about a missing piece of paper that they forgot to handle to us during check-in. I’ve tried to show my confirmed reservation on the Recreation app, but they refused to see it and kept insisting on the piece of paper that I didn’t even know that I should have received. Besides, I noticed my name with the site I paid for on the printed reservation list they were holding and pointed the fact out, but they simply said it is not relevant as it’s for check-out. ??? I seriously don’t understand the logic and intention here. Instead, they interrogated us like we entered illegally. Also, on the last day they suddenly requested us to leave at 11am by yelling at us “are you leaving or not”, despite that the information on the reservation system says check-out until noon and many other campers were still there. Their explanation was that the check-out time differed from the usual that day, while no staff told us in advance. We felt pretty disrespected and very poor customer service.

Awesome campground. Large sites, beautiful idea and a dog friendly beach. Thank goodness we didn’t need help from the camp hosts. I don’t know if I have ever experienced such sour puss people anywhere. I stepped off the pavement to allow them by in their golf cart. No acknowledgment at all. Tried talking to them when they came to put new tag on our site the day we were leaving…..they didn’t even respond.

The campsite itself is great.
However, people make reservations and never show up and the camp hosts will not release those sites so they just stay empty. There are always lots of empty sites.
This year's (2022) camp hosts were grumpy and unfriendly.
