What Guests Are Saying
Nevada Beach Campground is highly praised for its stunning location near Lake Tahoe, clean facilities, and friendly staff, particularly campground hosts Adam and Janet. Campers enjoy the beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forests, as well as the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the shoulder season. While reservations can be challenging to secure and some amenities, like restrooms, need improvement, the overall experience is characterized by cleanliness and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many.

Check in was good. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms were clean and swept around the buildings. Complaint we have is the site itself. Last camping there the fire ring was full of the previous campers burnt wood. This time the fire ring was cleaned out but, the asphalt site was filthy. We stayed in 2 different sites and both had built up debris, dirt, and fall out from the trees. I didn't hear any blowers when people left. We eventually swept off the site pads so we didn't track in the dirt and debris into our trailer. It appears this year's staff is doing as little as possible on the maintenance of the campground.

Beautiful large sites, some with views of the lake. Most sites in the trees and partial shade. Very quiet. The beach is amazing with a special section for dogs. The day use area can be a bit busy and noisy on the weekends.

One of the best camp spots. Close to the water, beautiful area, bears frequent the area less than other camping areas of Tahoe, and close to stores. There is cell service. A few east walking paths around the camp site and a hike up a hill across the street (Round Mound). There’s no showers but the sites are right by the beach.

It is an amazing location on Lake Tahoe. The campsites are nicely spaced in the pine trees. The campground hosts were friendly and helpful. It’s super hard to get a site there but worth the effort.

Best views, best space between campers, best staff and also best forest management. I only wish there were showers and a dump station.
