What Guests Are Saying
Nevada Beach Campground is highly praised for its stunning location near Lake Tahoe, clean facilities, and friendly staff, particularly campground hosts Adam and Janet. Campers enjoy the beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forests, as well as the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the shoulder season. While reservations can be challenging to secure and some amenities, like restrooms, need improvement, the overall experience is characterized by cleanliness and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many.

A wonderful campground in the pine woods. It is a 5 minute walk to the lake. Such a beautiful place to go and relax.

1. On the Recreation.gov app, finding an available site at this campground is VERY difficult because the two “Pavilion” group sites are always available. Is there any way to decouple these from the real campsites?
2. The stay was enjoyable except for some sites having 4+ vehicles that overflow onto the narrow road. Campsite admins are not enforcing the “2 vehicles max” rule which ends up causing this.
3. A number of bathrooms had no running water.

Clean campground and all spots are within walking distance to beach or trails through woods. Dog beach on south end of campground. Always easy check-in and hosts manage the location to keep it safe and happy for everyone.

Camp host was pretty rude when I checked in. I had camped at this location several times and had not been ordered to present my Senior discount card before. I had secured my reservation online at recreation.gov by including my Senior card number. I thought that by seeing my ID she would be able to access my card information. I had to drive 90 miles round trip after the first night to bring the card back so that she would not penalize me. My suggestion for this Host would be to place more emphasis on 'Hosting' and less on 'Enforcing'. It was uncomfortable. Also water throughout the camp was only sporadically available. Faucets were turned off. Bathrooms were wonderful though and we had terrific weather.

I love this campsite so much. The space is huge and you have more privacy. This campsite is also close to the beach in the park, which is wonderful.

OH YEAH, this is a great place to stay.
Government park, NO hookups! Prep before arriving; Batteries, Water and Propane
Plenty of shade, spacious lots and restrooms throughout to park.
Oh, did I mention it is right on Lake Tahoe, with it’s own GREAT beach with benches.
There are several water facets throughout the park as well.
Located close to all of the shops and stores.
Safeway grocery store close by as well as gas.
We were in a 25' Motorhome
Highly Recommended
