Our site was up against someone’s backyard. Which pretty much felt like we were sleeping in our own backyard. The sun was directly over us until 5ish pm during the heat wave. We escaped to an overcrowded beach full of rocks. Finally, camp host in site 1 is a complete jerk. A useless, grumpy employee that should find a job he actually likes. I am glad we checked it off our list, but it will definitely be our last time there.

My favorite place to camp at Lake Tahoe. We even live a half hour away but love to stay here. We will be back for a longer stay next time.

Quick access to the beach and proximity to Tahoe CIty. Clean bathrooms, the only negative I can think of is there are no showers.

It would be nice to have electricity in the restrooms at night. A mirror would also be helpful. There are no nearby showers for the guests who are camping. I would add a note NO FOOD IN RESTROOM TRASH CANS. I found a corn cob in the women's restroom waste basket and took it to the locked trash bin. The hosts did a very nice job.

Overall this a great campground, staff is really nice and bathrooms are always restocked and clean my only issue is Campsite #21 is not equipped for larger groups of more than 2 . Very small space and don’t recommend unless you don’t mind being very close to the neighbors and it’s just 2 . Made a reservation for this site I had a group of 6 we ended up having to abandon the site and merge into another campsite that we reserved for the other half of our group . Luckily I was kindly given a refund for the unused site
