Clean, quiet site right across from Lake Tahoe and within walking distance of many attractions. Friendly host and regular drive-by checks by camp staff. Included is bear-proof storage lockers.

Excellent campground! During my family's stay on Sept 24-26, it was a peaceful and quiet time. We were in spot 46 and it was very close to the restrooms, and potable drinking water faucets. The restrooms were very clean and always had toilet paper. The bear locker was very sturdy and clean inside. Garbage bin was also nearby so cleaning up after eating was very easy. The campground is one way traffic in a loop so, going to spot 46 was almost completing the loop. We saw many RV's parked and it is quite suitable for RV's. (Plenty of space)
Shops that are near the campground is the market across the street that sold firewood. However if they are out, there is a savemart about 3 miles away in tahoe city that stocks firewood outside. (Campground did not sell firewood when we went, and I don't think they ever did?)
The breakfast place Fire sign cafe was very close, (5 min walk from our tent) and had excellent food. (Couldn't finish it so took a doggy bag.) The beach is also next to the market, but it is all gravel and no sand. However, it was very nice and relaxing.
We didn't encounter any bears this trip, but make sure to follow the safety recommendation by the hosts. Overall, all of my family members wants to visit this campground again next season. We will definitely be back!

⚠️ Avoid at all cost!
This spot is right next to the restrooms which was really stinky. The hosts kept the door open which was part of the problem but also you get no privacy here as people will frequently walk by to use the restrooms.

Great campground, with wonderful hosts!
Easy walk down to the beach, with lots of food, drinks, and stuff to do nearby.
The hosts were all great and very helpful-really enjoyed our stay.
Only downside in spot # 60 is the trash dumpster right outside the widow of the camper. Looks like it could/should go over near the bathroom--much too close to a site to be pleasant.
We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful campground on a hill nestled amongst neighboring cabins. I was there for two nights in a small pop up trailer. I did not fully unhook to ensure my vehicle remained within the concrete pad. I was glad to have my bal leveler to even the trailer out. Next time I will reserve a wider site. Campsite was a nice size. Camp hosts were fabulous and helpful. They do a great job keeping bathrooms and sites clean. I look forward to coming back and venturing across Hwy 89 to the beach. I was able to text and call with Verizon, but internet access was slow if not nonexistent.
