Don’t take campsite 57, right by the toilet on open sun. We couldn’t stay there, left to search another camping in the area.

Sites are small and very close to the road and noisy at night. The campground needs an update as the asphalt is buckled in many sites. The beach was amazing.

Great quiet location. Nice an open to set up a tent. Bathroom facilities are spread out nice and evenly. Close proximity to the beach and the market. Hosts were super friendly and helpful when we had a slight issue. Bears were out and about, but didn't cause us any damage thanks to utilizing the bear box.

Clean, not crowded, space between sites, very welcoming staff and quick walk to lake shore access although dogs were not allowed on the beach.
We had never seen yurts for rent in s national forest campground before. Nice offering.

Well kept campground. Staff is wonderful. Restrooms clean. Stayed twice this fall. Unfortunately people are not being kicked out of the campground when they are having large groups of people and leaving food and trash out. Those people are endangering wildlife and humans because they choose to ignore bear safety rules.

We stayed one night at site 15. We had plenty of space and it appeared sites were well spread out. No electric or water hook up. The campground hosts were so nice and checked on us a couple of times. The campground is across the street from a public beach (more rocks than sand) and there is a store next door too, as well as a paved bike path that I believe runs all the way to Kings Beach.
Overall great stay!
