Wonderful campground. Very clean. Friendly staff. The only reason we rate 4 stars rather than 5 is because of guests had large gathering with food left around the sites. Of course the bears came.....

Awesome camp stop but be aware of the bears that come around at dusk and morning, make sure all food goes in the bear box.

Very nice forest campground with great location for activities and shopping near Tahoe City.
Most camp sites are wide and long and paved. Don't depend on descriptions of campsites when making reservations if you gave a motorhome, call them first.
Fortunately they were able to change our site when we arrived.
They did charge us a cancelation fee plus one night to rebook a different site. This I did not like, but at least we found a new site that would work.
Hosts were very nice and helpful.
Perfect location for lots of fun and nice restaurants. Nice beach is
located across the street.

Had campsite 36 for pop up, very hilly with small driveway. Couldn’t get all 4 tires on pavement by 6 inches. Went to office to see if he could help. He said doesn’t matter it’s a thousand dollar fine. I asked to maybe change our campsite for us. He said he’s not.going to help us, he laughed and said I’m not going to lose my job. He told us to contact rec. gov. Had to cancel two days and pay extra fee. Cost $82 to just change campsites, thanks for your help!

We were literally camped in someone’s backyard. There was a low fence but I was glad the owners weren’t there! I’ll be using Google Earth from now in. Lots of space for each campsite, which was good.
