Excellent Campground and Camphosts - restrooms & surrounding areas were very clean, Camphosts cleaned campsites very quickly after sites were vacated. Lots of trees. Beach across the street, along with market/deli & restaurant. Fantastic bike trails nearby and Truckee river is close by to float down. Bears were very active and present every nite, but were only after food some careless camper might leave out.

The camp hosts were wonderful. They were helpful & worked very hard to keep the campground beautiful, tidy & very clean.
I suggest asking how wide the pads are & if they have a jagged edge. Some had asphalt disintegrating along the sides w/rather steep drop-offs.

I just love the camp hosts at this campground. They are wonderful. They keep the place so clean, warn us about bears in the area and are just a delight to interact with. I think they are the reason we love camping here so much. Also, being so close to the lake is a plus too. It’s just a short walk from the campground.
