Shhh. Don't tell anyone about this campground. It is the best deal in all of Tahoe. Near everything and on the right side of traffic, meaning very little traffic. It is well kept. Dump station is a plus and the bathrooms are modern and clean. We were pulling a 25ft trailer and had no trouble getting through the campground, but larger rigs might. Clearance is not quite 14 ft. to most branches and trees.
TIP: Listen to the camp hosts when they tell you to not eat outside after 9pm. They told us it was an open invitation for bears to join you. We don't eat that late, but the people in the site next to us did. A large bear came into their camp, chased the 2 people into their truck and then raided all of their food on the table and in the open bear box! Then, the bear ran through the whole campground. A bear visited the campground 2 nights after that, as well.

The hosts were great and worked tirelessly keeping the campground clean and chasing away the bears. It was a quiet and peaceful campground. The beach across the road was excellent. Twenty minutes south Eagle Falls is a great hike.

Nice campground. A bear came into our space the two nights we stayed. We get very scared !!! Then we talked to the manager of the place and he said that the bear was going out every night to look for food and that we just take care not to leave food on the tents. They should notify us when we check in.

Sites are highly variable. Read description carefully. Ours was very large, but quite unlevel. Beach was very small and rocky, sandwiched between private property all around.

Nice, very organized campsite, but gets really busy during holidays.
Location is superb walking distance to the beach on the lake. Bathrooms are clean, staff /host are very active and regularly watching the facility.
