I am reluctant to tell you how much we love this campground for fear to manycampers will find out about it. William Kent is our favorite campground in Tahoe. We love the fact that you can walk across the street to the lake. We have kayaks and if there is no parking spots left at the beach we know we can park at the lower section of the campground after unloading. The camp hosts are extremely friendly.They are helpful and very attentive. It is very quiet.

The campground is well maintained. Toilets cleaned daily, have soap. The host keeps the piece and quiet time.

Sites were nicely paved and clean when we arrived. Clean restrooms, accessible water. Friendly and helpful camp hosts. Only negative is the dumpster lids are very heavy and awkward to raise, especially for short people and children.

Easy late check-in, nicely managed sites. My favorite handle among all the bear vaults we used during the trip. William Kent Beach is pretty small and limited, but you're not too far from some decent hikes.

Site 037 is a great location, next to the bathrooms great amount of shade. Loved our stay here they had awesome host and very helpful. This camp site is literally across the street from a mini market, restaurant and the beach! And itβs only 5 minutes away drive from the nearest little town! Loved our stay here will go back.
