It was nice, but not at all what was expected. It's butted right up against homes and few toilets that are only single use but with no lock to exterior door. The beach was close but tiny and mostly boats and other water craft. I think people like it because it's close stores and cafes, but I like to get away from it all while I camp.

We stayed in space 30, that was fabulous. We have solar panels for our trailer so when another trailer runs their generator all night till 1030 an all morning it was irritating, but had nothing to do with the campsite. The restrooms were clean. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for having the extra parking for the beach.

I had a lovely stay at this campground! Great location with a beach right across the street, friendly camp host with firewood for sale, well-kept bathrooms with plenty of potable water (no showers though). Only downsides were we ended up with a smaller not super shady site, and we experienced a little too much bear activity for our comfort level. Nonetheless I would stay again!

Electrical plugins for RV's would be nice, but that's not a fault of the campground since it's our first time using one and we made assumptions without verifying. Other than that, place was fantastic.

I love this area. Right across the street from Lake Tahoe. It is a beautiful well maintained camp ground. This has been my "GO TO" spot for many years. Getting a bit busy lately however. Must reserve well in advance for week end trips. However, we are retired so week days are generally available.
