Most of the campsites here are practically in someone’s backyard so there’s no privacy at all. If you camp here pray that the house you are by is quiet… mine decided to have a karaoke night until 2 am lol

We were lucky enough to get a four night stay in July, and it was fantastic! It’s our new favorite place somewhat close to our home. We especially loved the close proximity to the beach and the bike path to Tahoe City and down the Truckee river. There is so much to see and do at Tahoe, nobody should be disappointed !

Enjoyed our stay over July 4th weekend. Beach area is nice but very small. Stake your spot early in the day during busy weekends.
Would like to see showers added to the facilities.
Overall a good stay, will definitely return.

If the most important aspect of a campsite is how close you are to the bathroom, you can't get better than this site. The bathroom is essentially IN your campsite. Luckily it didn't stink during our visit, and the camp host was super friendly and helpful. It's a pretty short walk to the tiny beach associated with the campground. After getting over the bathroom situation it wasn't that bad, tons of kids at this site so it can get loud/rowdy at times.

Don’t choose site 57. There is a bathroom right next to the campsite. It’s not labeled on the campground map, but it stinks and people will be coming into your campground to use it. Also it says 2 cars allowed per campground but unless you have two small cars it’s very difficult to fit both since you can’t park on the dirt. Male campground host was friendly and helpful. The female host was not so friendly and was rude. Beach by the campground is very small and there are a lot of boats. It was an okay experience overall but I wouldn’t camp here again. Plenty of nicer campgrounds in Tahoe
