They let too many people per camp side. There are rules and one or two more ok, but this was really crazy. A lot of trees were cut however we saw no new being planted. If it continues like this the park will be bare in a few years. Sad

The campground is very clean and well maintained by the Camp Hosts. The roads through the campground are in need of some repair. We have a 34 ft. 5th wheel which made it challenging to get through. There were a few issues with the overhead clearances, but this was minimal. The cell service for Verizon is no existent. We had to run down to the Market to get service, which was ok because of the great Deli. We are Pickleball enthusiasts and Kilner Park is about a 1/4 mile away. Plenty of hiking and biking. The beach is across the street.

We enjoyed site #35 for how big it was and how removed it was from other campers. It was also close to the restrooms, which were clean enough. We did have houses behind us and kept getting visited by a dog who lived there, begging for food. That part was annoying. The park was quiet and the beach was small but very nice. There is a very nice general store across the street that has everything you may need, and more! My only negative comment is that the fire pit was full of ash and needed to be cleaned out as it was causing our fires at night to not burn well. I asked the camp host twice to attend to that but he kept saying it wasn’t necessary so he never did it. I was unhappy with that poor level of customer service. Other than that, we had a very nice stay and will definitely go back. Lake Tahoe is gorgeous!

Great location across from the lake, but not much retails store on the main 89 highway between campground and the lake. Campground has no reception, internet is 1 bar out of 4 bars.
Locations does not has showers available.
Make sure to have at least 150ft of water hose to fill up your fresh water tank.
Dump station location as you enter, will cost you $10 bucks.
Extra car will be $10 per night.
Sites are paved but 90% of them you can only park one car.
Reverse too far back with your tires on dirts will get you a warning on your windshield.
The Host male are nice, the female, from my experience is a whole other story.
Hope this helps, have fun and enjoy the lake.

We will always return to this campsite. It is so very well kept, dry camping or not, and the hosts are always so very considerate.
Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to stay.

Hosts were very respectful and answered all questions. Site was clean, well maintained with bathrooms in decent shape, no smell and easily within walking distance. Beautiful trees all around and the area wasn’t too busy. This was our second trip to this camp ground and both times we enjoyed our time there.
