What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

The location is very good within short walking distance to the visitor center and 20min to the Grant Tree. Due to NO photo information during the booking, we have no idea about the flatness, so be careful. Per my observation, most of the sites need leveling and some (30%) are difficult to do, which needs lifting up to 4-6" on 1-3 wheels. The overall environment is very nice, quiet and cool.

Azelea camp was great, the property was well maintained, we stayed at campsite #31. The tent area was a bit too small for our tent (14'x18') so anything smaller than that would work great. Plenty of area for our eazy-up and chairs. The road to sequoia was closed due to snow. One other thing the light in the men's restroom was out.

Actually i am very disapointed from the park in general. Camping his poorly taking care of. That place was a desaster area. Many sites are not level and they are not clean. King Canyon was accessible but not Sequoia due to closed road. Never received an email telling me that most of the NP was not open.

Due to weather conditions most of the park was closed, which meant that very few people were around and we loved there! The campground gives a lot of space for each tent, and the restrooms were very clean.
