What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Site 22 very nice close to bathrooms lots of overall space, tent pad is a little elevated within the site which made the sleeping space feel a bit private.

Restrooms were a little bit of a walk from this campsite and the driveway is a bit sloped. I had to level my car for my rooftop tent, but everything else was fantastic.

Azalea Campground is beautiful with very tall trees, walking distance to Grant tree. Camp host Keith was so helpful. We had booked the last site in the campground months before and it wasn’t really appropriate for tent camping as it was steeply sloped. He found another site that we could use and we were so appreciative. It’s quite close to Grant Grove Village so it’s easy to take a few minute drive to get firewood or check in at the visitor center or get some food at the restaurant.
