What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with ample shaded and spacious sites, making it ideal for families and groups. Many campers enjoyed the proximity to trails, visitor centers, and stunning views of the surrounding giant sequoias. While some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and site proximity, the overall experience was positive, with a strong desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

It was great to spend time in the great outdoors at one of the most popular National Park in our country. This campground is conveniently located next to visitor center and other amenities, which made it very convenient for us. We were able to get items that we forgot to pack or items that we ran out of. The site we stayed at (the handicap site) was fairly small, however, and it was a little bit on a slope. We were able to make due with what we had though and it was still a beautiful place to be at. It became our home away from home.

This is an amazing camp ground. The rest rooms were clean and kept up even with the shortage staff. This site is on a pretty uneven grade so make sure you bring stackers so you can level your trailer. Happy Camping.

Nothing really special about this campground. Impossible to get reservation prior to arrival, website shows totally booked. Checking hourly, I was able to obtain reservation. Many vacant sites that you can’t stay due to reservations that had no shows. Very disappointing system.
