What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Site 81 is a great location--set back from the road through camp, up on a little crest, good shade. It's between two bathrooms, very convenient. Great spot for families.

quiet campground in a central location for driving to both sides of park. Site 7 is on a hill with only a couple flat spots for tent, can imagine this site being a problem if it were to rain.

No level ground for tent. People walking through site to go to bathroom early in morning and late at night. Awkward area where the picnic table and fire pit are in the back on a slope. Site is essentially sandwiched between two sites and there’s no privacy/space to camp. 0/10 do not stay at this site. Azalea campground is pretty and the other sites from what we saw looked great. Just not this one!
