Nice large tent pads. Nice shaded areas. The river was an absolute blast, spent most of the time exploring the river.

Magical little place. The creek next to it is gorgeous!! Peaceful place and friendly neighbors. Bathrooms were better kept than in other camp sites I have seen. And they have soap available!

Campground was quite and all facilities were clean. Saw my first black bear in Sequoia after he came up from the river and traversed through the campground behaving himself.

The facility was very good with clean, hygienic toilets and proper campsite. River is so near and easily accessible with consistent sound of water (which was a bonus for us).
The only issue was with the entry road to the campground which was bit confusing with improper sign boards.

Buckeye Flat is beautiful! Bathrooms were clean, it is an amazing spot, very quiet at night, at least the weekend we stayed no one was being loud. There isn’t a shower but you have the river and you could bring a portable shower $30 on Amazon. We did that and it feels good to rinse with warmer water. The river was a little chilly for me but kids loved it. It was hot enough to enjoy the water.

Very good location. It is best campground because of near river access. Also a trail to river and up mountain is the best.
