Scenic, good spacing between campsites, not crowded. Good location if arriving from Southern California

The tent site for #17 is right next to the parking spot for#18; shouldn't be a problem, but our neighbors woke us up when they arrived at 1am to set up camp.

Beautiful campground! Pretty full capacity but generally campers honored quiet hours. Bathrooms were fairly clean and utility sink very handy. Trails to beautiful river views right from the campground.

Location was great. The sound of the river was soothing as we slept. The bathrooms were clean and well-kept. The staff we interacted with were professional and helpful. Thanks for some great memories!

This is a lovely campground nestled amongst an Oak Tree canopy. The sites are for Tents only. Lovely river sounds from the middle fork of the Kaweah River. Full shade is especially nice for warmer temps at the 2,800 elevation. This is my second trip here. We camped as a Family in 2011, and decided to return because we enjoyed the experience the first time. There is a very nice Paradise Creek Trail hike that one can take that follows the creek up to crossing the Kaweah River. If one wants to take a walk with a dog, there is also the Middle Fork Trail utility road that one can walk or take a run up the mountain to the start of the Middle Fork trailhead. Please note that if one stays here, it takes about 45 minutes to drive up to the Giant Grove and Sequoia Museum.

great location but heads up that there was a 2 year old bear very calmly wandering around the campground. we just banged on a few pots and made some noise..........he sauntered off with no problem. Take bear spray with you.

We loved this campsite! We stayed at number 5 and it was a good size for 1 tent. The restrooms were well maintained and appreciated the sink to wash dishes. There were plenty of trash bins and felt pretty cleaned compared to other campsites we have visited. It was very peaceful and would definitely stay here again. The river is close to get to and hospital rock was very close also! Highly recommend! It was beautiful and close to so many other hikes!
