Beautiful spot! Loved it. Just FYI when we arrived there weren’t any access to running water and flushing toilets, don’t know if it’s seasonal thing

This campground was run by the Army Corps of Engineers. You would think it was squared away and above standard. It was far below. The restrooms and showers were closed due to needed repairs from flooding. Not sure when the flood happened but we were left with two women’s port a potties and one men’s. It said it was good for 10 people a week on the cleaning schedule. However the excrement was 2/3 full with another week to go. There were downed trees and debris everywhere and the water fountain was non functional. The vault toilets at Indian Cove campground were cleaner than these. It was so disgusting many of us in surrounding sites wanted to leave but it was too late. We got out of there first thing in the morning. The website misrepresented this campground greatly.

Beautiful view, but bathrooms were closed. Porta-potties were sufficient.

Bathroom not usable. Pit toilet out of toilet paper in the afternoon. Campsite impacted from last flooding. Not recommended for larger RVs.

The condition of the campsite was very disappointing. There were wood scraps everywhere, making the place look more like a junkyard rather than a pleasant camping spot. Most of the toilets and showers were out of order, which made the stay even more difficult. Under these conditions, I definitely wouldn’t camp here again.
