Was not being maintained. Someone had setup in our site but were not around to address it with them. Office was closed and the showers were locked. Stayed one of two nights. Avoid if possible.

Cute and easy to access campground for families. I was surprised to see so many wildflowers and lush greenery at our site. Campground is very exposed, so you can see everything your neighbors are doing and any car that drives by on the main road. Suitable for families with kids or those who desire more amenities and have more than one car. Many restaurants and cute touristy shops and a couple of gas stations in the area. I went in March and it was unusually warm outside and there were lots of springtime bugs out and about. There was ample toilet paper and soap in the bathrooms. I didn't use the showers, but it looked like they were due for a hose down as it was dingy and had toilet paper saturated on the floor.

Views are spectacular. Easy to get to, nicely located just outside of Sequoia. Bathroom with hot shower a plus. A little highway noise at my spot. Fun to have wild turkeys and squirrels in my area.

Checkout your sites before hand. Lots of them have a step down off the pavement. Sometimes it's a BIG step. Not much shade if that's what your looking for.

The campsite was simple and nice for a quick 1 night trip. Did not get to use the restroom facilities so cannot say anything about that but the campsite itself was relatively clean and nice. Would come again.

Cool location! Restroom closest to our camp site was broken down, but the provided porta potties were clean. Definitely not a quite place to tent camp due to RV campers.

I did not feel safe in the campground due to it having several homeless encampments and no host. Sure, Rangers and park maintenance drove through on occasion to attach reservation cards to poles and maintain the trash and toilets, but there was no supervision. The homeless ppl are doing laundry at the water spigot, canvassing the park constantly, driving in circles and picking through the trash. I left my camper to tour Sequoia, but the entire time I was concerned about a break-in and theft. Moreover, non-paying camper's were staying overnight while there were those who paid. To my knowledge, this park is not actively seeking a host.

We were lucky to go before the lake rose up over the site we stayed at. What a great park, views, friendly and helpful rangers, and clean. Stargazing was really good.
