We stayed one night at this campground and were disappointed. The website had promised showers and bathrooms but unfortunately when we arrived we were surprised to find that the entrances to the bathhouses had been blocked by port-a-johns. Having expected a place to use a real bathroom and to take a shower we were upset. The view was nice and the rest of the campground was fine which is why I’m rating it 2 stars instead of 1.

Although the showers and bathrooms were no in service there were plenty of Portable toilets in the campground.
The campground was clear of debris appeared to be well maintained.
Looking forward to our next visit

We usually have great time there but we ran into a park ranger who was working the evening shift that was just a A hole. He ask if we had stayed with them before and I pointed out yes multiple times we were aware off all the rules. But he still felt the need to paint them all out and even made the comment that if we didn't follow the rules he would have no issue coming back out. We get along with all the rangers but this guy was just a pill worst part was that the lady next to us had her dogs running around crapping everywhere and he didn't say anything about that

There was no camp host on site during this time of year. The park ranger stopped by once a day to get you checked in and give you a tag to hang on your mirror. The bathrooms were not in use and they had a few portapotties available. It appeared that there were a lot of water valve spots, but they were not hooked up and we had to go to the bathroom area for water. A lot of the sites were on slants that are not able to be seen on the images on the site. However, site 62 was flat and overall a nice spot.

I was nervous because I never been camping before but this was fun! Pretty easy to find our spot and love how spread out we were from others.

Pretty limited amenities when I was there in December. Although the porta-potties were decently clean, the bathrooms were closed and there were no operational spigots close to my campsite. No camp host meant going into town for firewood. The second night we had to dig out the ash from the fire pit to get the level below the holes for drawing air. The site itself had a large level space for a tent and the parking spots easily accommodated a full-size truck. It's a beautiful location if you are ready to rough it a bit.

The location is great! The camp site was nice and clean and convenient.
Only issue was that the restrooms were closed and there were only the portable toilets. That also had run out of toilet paper, thankfully we carried our own.
