The woman camp host was rude and loud music was playing loudly all night.

Amazing view and location has great potential. Researched location a few months in advance and reviews stated that bathrooms were out of service- we stayed months later and bathrooms were STILL out of service. Available showers were dirty and neglected.
Most sights were not level and not clean at all! Trash to include the norm - bread ties, bottle caps, snack rappers, and the fire pits were filled with odd trash items.
Location either has a lazy staff or is short staffed.
This place has great potential, BUT needs a detailed oriented site manager to make it great.
Would not recommend…

Pros:
Great location, close enough to sequoia and awesome view of the hills!
Clean bathrooms, warm showers, helpful check in process
Cons:
Not much privacy site to site (ie. No tree coverage), sites are close together
Highway was a bit loud

We visited Horse Creek Feb 25 and 26, 2022. We had a good experience and appreciated the spacious camp sites. While the campground is impacted by road noise from The Generals Highway, there was little traffic so the campground was quiet.
We do caution that because most of this campground goes underwater at full pool of Kaweah Lake, there is very little shade at most camp sites. Summer visits could be uncomfortably warm as a result.
We stayed at Horse Creek to visit Kings Canyon National Park. We are glad we stayed here rather than Potwisha Campground inside Kings Canyon NP as it saved hauling our travel trailer up a narrow, winding road to Potwisha, which has much smaller, albeit much shadier, campsites.

Excellent place to stay and close to Sequoia as well. Very spacious sites and nice views. I'd stay there again. Was close to some fresh fruit stands in Lemon Cove that had awesome oranges.
There was a little noise from the highway but not too bad at all.
Unfortunately the dump station and main restrooms are out of order for an extended time and that WAS NOT listed on the web site. If it had not been for this glaring oversight in communication I would have rated it 5 stars. As it was I had to drive to another town and pay to dump at a commercial RV park.
