What Guests Are Saying

Boca Campground offers stunning views, spacious sites, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great choice for camping. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness, beautiful scenery, and the helpful camp host. However, some challenges include a lack of water access, steep paths to the lake, and occasional noise from nearby campers. Overall, it remains a favored location for its scenic beauty and convenient proximity to Reno.

My spot was perfect! The water level was good in the reservoir. The vault toilets were the cleanest I’ve ever seen in my life. The whole area was free of litter and well groomed. The dumpsters were not overflowing like other places I’ve been. The weather was perfect. What a beautiful place!

Boca was a great experience! We stayed at site 16. It had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, perfect distance from the bathroom, and an amazing spot for stargazing! It’s close to the highway, about 5-7 mins. I didn’t have much phone service at the sight with Verizon, but my partner did with AT&T. I definitely recommend for a quick getaway or family vacation!

I had a great stay. Views are gorgeous. Note that not all sites have a flat area, so if you bring an RV be sure to bring leveling equipment such as blocks and jacks with you. Ba advised that the toilets are pit toilets. Also, you have to keep all your food in the bearproof boxes, so be sure you measure before you go so you are sure it will fit.

Campground was clean and quiet, nice spot for the tent and overall pleasant. However the fireworks, gunshots and constant boat noises did somewhat ruin the atmosphere.

The water level was very low, the campsite was on the side of a hill which made it difficult for me with my health issues, and the camp host was very irritating.

I have to give credit to the camp Host!!!! She was very helpful and sweet!!! I was very impressed with how clean the restrooms were and everyone in our group made comments on the clean they were. We decide that Boca Camp would be one that we will come back to next year!!! Thank you and please give kudos to the camp host

Boca campground has plenty of shade, most of the sites are fairly good size. The pit toilets were kept clean. The one big problem is no water faucets. We were fine since we had a trailer but others in tents had to bring their water.
