What Guests Are Saying
Boca Rest Campground features beautiful scenery and spacious sites, with many campers appreciating the lake for activities like paddle boarding. The campground host, John, received praise for his helpfulness, although some guests found him to be overly strict regarding vehicle regulations. While there are concerns about beach access, the cleanliness of facilities, and issues with flies and garbage, many guests expressed their intention to return and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Great spot. Enjoyed the time. Some recent work and improvements, with added landscaping and layout design. Well done! I only would recommend trimming some of the bushes back along the entry ways and inner roads. Overall, a great place to water play and see the stars!!

We enjoyed camping so close to the lake. It is a nice quiet and clean campground.

Booking was the only problem. No descent map/campsite locator. It seems the rate/payment is different than the price indicated at the campground. Enjoyed the campground/campsite.

Nice new sites, but the fire pits in #1-3 are in wrong place! The fire pits are Right next to neighbor camper window when there was plenty of room for better place fire site?? Needs to have a re-plan!
Very sad that lake do low.

Very large campsites. Do not pay attention to the size limits for trailers - it is all dirt so you can have any size RV or trailer at all the sites from what I could tell.
It is VERY windy here. Got windy every afternoon the 5 days we were there & stayed windy the rest of the day/evening & night. Made it really cold at our campfire & had to bring our awnings in at night due to the noise.

This is a great little campground. The improvements they have done have made the spots a little more defined and user friendly. It will be nice once the newly planted trees have grown, it will give this campground plenty of shade. The camp host was great and very friendly. He made sure we knew he was there is we needed anything. Being so close to home, we love this campground.
